EARLY LEARNING CENTER

Our Early Learning Center is located at Beach Church and has been serving the beaches community for over 60 years. Our goal is to be a place where children can learn through age-appropriate curriculum, academic development, and a loving staff who desires them to know Jesus.

Our Center serves children ages 18 months – 4 years old (VPK). Students must turn classroom age by September 1 of the current school year for eligibility in our program. We offer a variety of schedules for our families. Our 18 month – 3 year old classrooms offer schedules from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm or 7:30 am – 5:15 pm with two day, three day and five day a week options. Our VPK classrooms are five days per week with the VPK day from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. VPK students can choose an extended schedule with wrap-around care from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm or full day schedule from 7:30 am – 5:15 pm.

2025 - 2026 Registration

Registration will open to the public on March 24, 2025 at 8:00 am in the Beach Church Worship Center. The range of available slots for each age range is provided below but because we offer a variety of schedule choices, an exact number of slots cannot be provided prior to registration. You can complete an application in advance and bring it on the day of or paper applications will be available. On registration day, if you are offered and accept a slot, there is a non-refundable $150 registration and $100 supply fee required to hold your slot for the upcoming school year for students entering 18 months through Three-year-old classrooms. For wrap-around and full day VPK students, there is a $50 registration and $25 supply fee. If enrolling in the state only VPK from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, there is not a registration or supply fee. If enrolling more than one student, the registration fee is capped at $200. The full supply fee is due for each child. Checks should be made to “Beach Church ELC.” If paying in cash, please have exact change. Please make sure you have cash or check with you on registration day to secure your student’s slot. If you are offered a slot on the wait list, there is a $25 fee to be added that will be allocated toward registration if offered a slot during the 2025-26 school year. 

The number of slots for each class is a range based on schedule choices as enrollment occurs. 

18 Months: 6-9 available slots (3-6 slots for the full day program)

Twos: 6-8 available slots (1-2 slots for the full day program)

Threes: 7 -12 available slots (2-4 slots for the full day program) 

VPK: 5 available slots (these slots are for state-funded or wrap around only; we have no full day VPK slots available)

VPK Families Only: If your child is entering Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, you MUST complete an application and receive a VPK Certificate of Eligibility from Duval County Early Learning Coalition to enroll in our program. You can do this by creating or logging into your Florida’s Early Learning Family Portal by visiting the link here. Children entering VPK must by four-years-old on or before September 1, 2025.

2024 - 2025 Enrollment

The wait list for the 2024 – 2025 school year is closed. Families who are currently on this years’ wait list will be contacted if a slot becomes available.
